Ramesh Gorjala Artist
For over 40 years in his career as an
ophthalmologist, Gangadhara Reddy observed the similarities among patterns at
the cornea and drawings in Indian mythology. He shot as many digital pics of
the cornea as possible as part of his paintings in the last few years
His friend and artist Ramesh Gorjala Artist turned into spot on while he saw one of the photos and equated it to a ball of
fire that Hanuman attempted to seize as a baby. The synergy between technology
and artwork had been created and the duo started out operating on a
collaborative collection.
The end result is an exhibition of 30
art work, The Hanuman, now on display at the indiearts.
In a painting titled Hanuman, Ramesh
Gurjala attracts parallel between the shape of Buddha as seen in the cornea to
the preaching of Buddha and enlightenment. In different high-decision
photographs of the human eye, Ramesh Gorjala drew similarities to the define of
Om and Ganesha.
Ramesh, who hails from a family of
Kalamkari artisans in Kalahasti, uses his mastery over Kalamkari approach of
drawing and does a present day tackle mythology. The paintings present chapters
from Ramayana, Mahabharata, Buddhism and Dasavataram, artistically bringing
collectively the Kalamkari style of drawings and virtual snap shots of the
attention.
